1. Stage 1 - Bare foot concept

The stage 1 of toddler learning to walk is from 8 to 15 months. It is recommended to encourage toddler to walk with their bare feet to gain the sense of getting to ground and learning balance. However, toddlers’ foot is tender, it is recommended to choose pre-walk shoes with “bare foot concept”. While indoors, it is necessary to wear shoes with thin bottom and soft body. While outdoors, it is recommended to choose more protective shoes with relatively thin bottom to enhance both feet’s protection and yet do not affect the sense of getting to ground.

2. Stage 2 - Flexible concept

The stage 2 of toddler learning to walk is from 16 months to 3 years old. It is recommended to choose pre-walk shoes with “flexible concept”. The forefoot can be easily flexed to walking. It should also have relatively hard heel counter and mild arch support to control the shape of foot.

3. Stage 3 - 3-Dimensional footcare concept

The stage 3 of toddler learning to walk is from 2 to 4 years old. During this stage, children’s foot bottom has a thick layer of fat covering foot arch which usually becomes pseudo flatfoot. It is recommended to choose walker shoes with “3-dimensional footcare concept”. Equipped with “arch support”, it can reduce problems from flatfoot. Together with “hard heel counter” to control rearfoot pronation, children can wear comfortably and healthily!

4. Total contact sandal - Total contact concept

Total contact sandal specially equipped with “Toe Crest”. It stabilizes forefoot during walking. Together with “Arch Support” to support foot arch and “Heel Cradle Design” which increases the heel contact area, it will closely follow both feet upon wearing and redistribute pressure evenly along the foot bottom, effectively relieving problems as a result of flatfoot. In addition, the “Mid-cut Design” protects ankle joints so that children can wear comfortably and healthily!
